The Swainson’s Blue Mountain Lorikeet (Trichoglossus moluccanus), one of the Rainbow Lorikeets, is a medium-large strikingly coloured lorikeet, typically about 12 inches in length. This colourful parrot is an active and swift flying bird. Its habitat is rainforest, coastal bush and woodland areas.
